AARP Service (ASI) operates the MAC site for purposes of administering and providing distribution channel oversight. Employees, agents or others who have a relevant business relationship may provide certain personally identifiable information (PII) when using the MAC site. ASI uses and/or shares such PII only for purposes of maintaining and administering the MAC site and for distribution channel oversight, including for analytics and reporting purposes; otherwise, information gathered on the site may be shared in aggregate form.
Site registration information: when you register to use the site, we can collect your name, address, phone number, national producer number and associated agency name (if applicable) and agency phone number and zip code for purposes of verifying the person attempting to register is qualified to use the site.
ACES program information: we collect self-reported PII about community service activity participation and certain contact information for purposes of administering the ACES program, including for fulfillment of digital rewards.
Much of the PII that may be provided during use of the MAC site is not collected or retained by ASI but rather passes directly through to AARP for its use:
Organizations that have relationships with AARP to make available certain products that carry the AARP name provide ASI with participating agent information including name, address, phone number, national producer number and associated agency name (If applicable) and agency phone number and zip code. We use this PII for purposes of verifying that a person attempting to register for the site is qualified to use the site.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect personal data against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use.
